- Captured on 3 September 2023, this aerial view records the Langdon Park public housing estate in North Richmond, including the Elizabeth Street tower blocks and construction at 106 Elizabeth Street. The five-tower estate was completed in 1973 and occupies Elizabeth and Highett Streets. At the date of this photograph, works on the 106 Elizabeth Street social-housing redevelopment had begun; the completed project later provided 144 new homes. This image predates the Victorian Government’s broader announcement later that month to retire and redevelop Melbourne’s older high-rise public-housing estates.
